The Job Search: The Correct Approach

To many it seems that we are faced with the task of a new job search more often than we would like to. Often we jump at the first opportunity given that offers a decent pay with an ok schedule and some quick mention of growth potential. The problem with this is that once we are locked in and the desperation subsides, we often find ourselves waking up to go spend the majority of our days somewhere we don't want to be, with people we don't want to be around, doing things we'd rather not be doing. The first step to avoid this misery driving situation is to take time to plan your job search. Although things like our bills, spouse, friends & family all add to the pressure of needing a steady income asap, we must focus on not allowing these things to force us into make rash decisions. The fact of the matter is, the job market is like a casino and employers are like the dealers. Everything is set in their favor but with calculated movements and the proper education you can drastically turn the odds in your favor.
